In recent times, online course scams have become a major issue, with many influencers launching paid courses that do not deliver on their promises. A similar case recently emerged in Pakistan, involving well-known YouTubers and social media personalities.

‘Join Elite Group’ was launched by some of Pakistan’s most prominent influencers, including YouTubers Rajab Butt, Ducky Bhai, and TikToker Nadeem Nani. However, soon after its launch, several concerns were raised about the course’s quality, content, and legitimacy.

Talha Reviews, a well-known YouTube channel that specializes in exposing scams and reviewing online products, released a video uncovering the flaws in this course. The video highlighted how the course was incomplete and lacked the promised value, leading many buyers to feel deceived.
Following the backlash, Ducky Bhai appeared in a podcast to address the controversy. He acknowledged the issues with the course and admitted that there were bugs on their website, which resulted in incomplete content delivery. According to him, the course was only 80% complete, while the remaining 20% was missing. He further assured the public that they were willing to refund all those who had paid for the course.
Additionally, Ducky Bhai took this opportunity to clarify his stance on promoting financial apps like Binomo, which are often criticized for resembling gambling platforms. He stated that he had not promoted any such apps in 2024, except for a single post he made while in Japan due to a pending agreement from 2023. He also committed to avoiding any future promotions of gambling-related applications in 2025.
This situation serves as an important lesson for both influencers and their audiences. While content creators hold significant influence over their followers, they also bear the responsibility of ensuring the legitimacy of the products and services they endorse. Consumers, on the other hand, should always conduct thorough research before investing in any online courses or financial schemes.
